How it works

A practical path from existing internet to branded guest access.

The standard workflow keeps deployment simple: review the site, configure an approved router, connect it to customer-provided internet, then manage guest access remotely.

Deployment path

Step-by-step, without overcomplicating the network.

Each deployment still depends on the customer’s internet service, power, physical site conditions, and chosen guest access workflow.

  1. Review the location, expected guest count, and internet source.
  2. Configure the approved router and customer portal settings.
  3. Create guest access methods such as free access, vouchers, PINs, or paid plans.
  4. Connect power and Ethernet at the site or vehicle.
  5. The router checks in and the captive portal becomes available.
  6. Monitor health, sessions, support issues, and access history from the portal.

Remote management

AK Aurora Access remains the management plane. Customer and guest traffic stays on the customer’s internet connection; traffic is not routed through AK Aurora merely for monitoring.

Captive portal choices

A site can use free access, access codes, complimentary access, room-included access, front-desk workflows, or supported payment-provider flows where configured.
